Gather up as much gold and supplies as you can. He's not that tough though, and you should be able to handle him and his cronies with relative ease by this point.Īfter you kill Brankar and the Krug scouts, you'll complete Edgaar's quest. When you descend into the depths of the cellar, you'll have to fight Brankar the Scavenger, a steroid-hopped Krug. As a reward, you can take anything you find downstairs. Talk to him and he'll ask you to clear the Krug out of his cellar. Just down the hill you'll find Edgaar's house. This is the first boss-type character you'll encounter in the game, so make sure you have some health and mana potions handy. Just past the lake there's a pretty hefty contingent of Phraks lead by a Phrak Ballista. The bear is a 50 hit creature, so you'll have to drink a couple of health potions to get through the cave in one piece.Īfter killing the bear and recovering Atlan's leather, head to the east. You'll find Atlan's magic leather armor (def: 10, +5 health) here, along with the bear that apparently made poor Atlan a snack. There's also a cave along the western cliff edge in this area. You'll find some useful items in the farmhouse, including a Magic Armor nature spell and a tome entitled History of the Crypts. Be prepared for a big fight when you enter the farmhouse as at least three Krug Scouts will jump you when you open the door. You'll encounter some fairly heavy resistance in this area. Hack and slash your way through Krugs until you get to the farm with a lake. The game is pretty straightforward at this point.
